Breaking: Rich STILL Get Richer

15 Central Park West needs no introduction. So let's get into the meat of this one. A wealthy 82-year-old, Leroy Schecter, who made his money in the steal industry, is on the brink of making some serious profit from his two units at this Robert AM Stern building, reports the New York Times.

Schecter bought two apartments in the building in 2008 for $18 million and $8.5 million. Schecter always intended to combine the units, but never got around to it. Now, he wants to list the two apartments for $55 million - and that's before the cost of actually combining the two apartments. We don't recommend doing the math on this one - you'll probably have a stroke.

Oh, and don't feel bad if the place(s) don't sell right away: He's got A-Rod as a tenant, who happens to be paying $30,000 a month.

A-Rod's Landlord Swings for the Bleachers, New York Times.
